HCL expands in Vietnam with new office in Ho Chi Minh City
The New Technology Center will serve as HCL Vietnam’s second hub after Hanoi, to provide advanced IT solutions to global customers. HCL is committed to recruiting more than 3,000 IT professionals over the next few years, creating learning and employment opportunities for new talent in Vietnam.


HCL signs an MoU with Bac Ninh PPC
HCL Vietnam and Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (“Bac Ninh PPC”) signed an MoU to jointly establish potential cooperation in the field of IT, including training & recruitment from universities, vocational colleges, and high schools.
Bac Ninh PPC will support and create favorable conditions for HCL to carry out activities in Bac Ninh, including IT training, recruitment, and setting up the Facility in the Bac Ninh province in accordance with HCL Technologies’ orientation in Vietnam and compliance with Vietnamese laws.
HCL will work with universities, colleges, and high schools in Bac Ninh to evaluate students for IT training and recruitment from the Bac Ninh province for employment at HCL.
HCL Vietnam signs MoU with Sovico Group
On the occasion of the official visit to India of H.E Vuong Dinh Hue – Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, SOVICO Group and HCL signed an Memorandum of Understanding for the collaboration in digital transformation and reinvention for banking – financial services and insurance, aviation, energy, real estates and other ICT opportunies such as asset and resource management IoT, Cloud, machine learning, blockchain, data, etc. On the scheme, SOVICO Group and HCL will form a strategic partnership to leverage their expertise to enhance each other’s business interests in Vietnam and other countries with a focus on business, education and healthcare industry.


HCL Vietnam New Office Opening
On November 4, 2021, HCL inaugurated its new office in Hanoi. The new delivery office will be a key hub in HCL’s global delivery network, providing cutting-edge transformational IT services to our customers across several industries and verticals. It further strengthens HCL’s presence in Vietnam, where it aims to hire more than 3,000 people in the next few years to serve our several global clients. The inauguration of this office marks a significant milestone in HCL’s journey in Vietnam.
HCL started its business operations in December 2020 with its first delivery center in Vietnam’s capital city Hanoi. In less than a year, HCL is already home to hundreds of employees across its 2 centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and growing each day! HCL’s expansion in Hanoi with the new office is a testimony of our commitment to grow and strengthen our bond with Vietnam.

HCL Vietnam: Virtual Meet & Greet Event
HCL begun its operations in Vietnam in July 2020. A power packed virtual event was organized to commemorate the same.
